Kendrick Lamar Speaks on Ignoring Negativity, Touring, Janet Jackson & More

Backstage of the Roseland Ballroom in NYC, Thisis50 and Jack Thriller had a chance to meet up with Kendrick Lamar to speak on what it took to get him this far in his music career. The rappers climb to the top partially has to do with ignoring all the negativity he may receive.

He just came back from his tour in Europe. He said unlike the people, the weather sucked. Speaking of being out of the country, it has been about three months since Kendrick has seen his family.

“I think he’s another shine on New York, as far as our scene of the new generation of music that’s coming,” Fabolous told MTV News.

Mobb Deep Announces 20th Anniversary Tour


Mobb Deep has set initial dates for their upcoming ’20th Anniversary’ tour marking the 20th anniversary of the release of the duo’s debut Juvenile Hell, which dropped in April 1993. The two will kick things off over at the Double Door in Chi-Town. More dates to come, stay tuned!


Big Boi Announces “Shoes For Running” Tour

Big Boi is set embark on his “Shoes For Running” Tour, alongside Dungeon family artist Killer Mike. The duo will hit 45 cities beginning in April all the way until June. This is his first U.S. tour in more than two years.his set list will include new tracks, most notably “CPU” and “Apple of My Eye.” His 90-minute set will also include classic Outkast jams and cuts from his 2010 solo LP Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dustyincluding “Fo Yo Sorrows,” “Shutterbug” and “Shine Blockas.”
