“I Will Survive: The Gloria Gaynor Story” chronicles the inspiring journey of music legend Gloria Gaynor, from her humble beginnings to her iconic status as the “Queen of Disco.” The film will feature many of her chart-topping hits, including the legendary “I Will Survive,” a powerful anthem of empowerment that resonated with millions worldwide. Lifetime is set to premiere the highly-anticipated biopic on Saturday, February 8th at 8pm est.
The film stars Tony Award-nominated actress Joaquina Kalukango as Gloria Gaynor, with Lance Gross in a supporting role. “I Will Survive” is produced by renowned journalist and broadcaster Robin Roberts and Linda Berman for Rock’n Robin Productions, in association with Apex Content Ventures.
