Chocc Shares Vulnerable New EP “Would U Leave”

Rising singer/songwriter Chocc, also known as Cori Broadus, returns with her new EP Would U Leave, available now via Death Row Records/gamma. The three-track project takes a more raw and vulnerable turn sonically from her previously released dance-ready pop EP, Journals to Johnny.

Produced by frequent collaborator Sam Pounds, “Would U Leave” offers a deep dive into Chocc’s psyche. No stranger to mental health struggles, she lays bare the insecurities that haunt her in her relationship—comparing herself to women online, yearning for more from her partner, and feeling caught in the cycle of addictive love.

Released on Valentine’s Day, the track provides an honest counter to the holiday’s romanticized ideals, inviting listeners to embrace the raw, unfiltered moments when love isn’t so picture-perfect.

Alongside the release of her new EP, Chocc debuts her CHOC beauty line, a self-care brand rooted in authenticity, self-love, and individuality. Founded by Cori and inspired by her own journey of embracing natural beauty, CHOC launches with a Sephora Clean-certified, 100% vegan, and cruelty-free lip collection designed for all skin tones.

But it’s more than just a beauty line—it’s a movement. Later this year, CHOC will introduce The CHOC Foundation, dedicated to uplifting those facing societal and financial challenges. With a mission to redefine beauty on your own terms, CHOC is all about confidence, self-expression, and celebrating what makes you unique.
